Clifftop House, Hobson Bay
PSL Construction Ltd / Malcolm Taylor Architects / Equus Debobase Membrane
Clifftop House is a high-specification residential new build designed by Malcolm Taylor Architects, situated on a north-facing clifftop site overlooking Hobson Bay, Auckland. The three-bedroom residence was designed to house a significant collection of NZ Modern Art, incorporating passive solar design principles, copper cladding, bagged brick walls, and a dramatic 16-metre jetty extending over the cliff into Hobson Bay.
MPM Waterproofing Group installed Equus Debobase membrane roofing, working alongside PSL Construction Ltd to deliver long term waterproofing protection suited to the complexity and exposed coastal location of this high-specification build. The system was applied to protect the structure from water ingress and support long term durability across the roof areas of this architecturally significant home.
