Savory Construction / Nuraply 3PM Membrane Roofing / Remedial Re-Roof

MPM Waterproofing Group was contracted by Savory Construction to re-roof their head office at Carbine Road, Mt Wellington, Auckland. The project involved removing the existing damaged torch-on membrane and installing a new Nuraply 3PM system across the full 328m² roof area, applied in two separate layers to ensure a durable, natural-looking finish suited to the demands of a commercial building.

The bulk of the project ran through the winter months, requiring careful planning to maintain programme despite challenging weather conditions. A shrink wrap enclosure was erected by the builders to protect the project and crew, allowing work to continue through rain. Given the large roof area, the installation was carried out in stages to ensure consistent quality across the full scope. Led by MPM's Carl Brown, the project was completed in June 2020 with the building remaining fully operational throughout.
