Haydn & Rollett Construction / Athfield Architects / ARDEX Warm Roof System

MPM Waterproofing completed membrane roofing and membrane decking works at 132 Halsey Street, a premium nine-level apartment building in Wynyard Quarter, Auckland. Designed by Athfield Architects for Willis Bond, the building comprises 55 apartments, each with decks facing both sides of the building, making high-performance waterproofing critical across every level of the development.

The total scope covered approximately 3,600m2, split across 900m2 of roof and 2,700m2 of apartment balconies. A full ARDEX Warm Roof system was installed across both areas, incorporating Polyiso insulation board, moisture and vapour barriers suited to both concrete and timber substrates, and torch-applied bituminous membranes for the final finish. The completed installation was backed by a 20-year ARDEX warranty.
